Content is the king of every website. Thus mistakes made in content is a bad appeal to a website. Moreover it tells about the website; like purpose of website, services offered, company background, etc. Thus website content must be short, meaningful, Informative and Understandable. Most common mistake in content writing is grammatical and spelling mistakes. Try best to avoid these type of mistakes. Content of a website should be written in a flow aimed at clarifying all visitor queries and making him/ her feel at home with the website.
Scrolling Down
All of us know that scrolling is a hardful task for the visitor. Thus avoiding Scroll bars in the important pages is an important tip to avoid mistakes in your website. Although, both, vertical and horizontal scrolling should be avoided, but in some cases it becomes impossible to restrict vertical scrolling. Thus, Try avoiding scroll as far as possible on your website.
Text Fonts
One of the most Noted mistakes made by the web designers are the combination of 2 Fonts in a single page. This will surely irritate the reader (visitor) while reading the article or the matter. Too small or too large fonts are also hard to read. If you want to emphasize on a particular word don’t underline it better option is highlight text by using italic, bold or color. Use of Underlined Text is also a bad habit of Web designers. Althugh the text will feel a different look, it will be Difficult for the readers to read it. Moreover it is difficult to distinguish between underlined text and hyperlinks as both look same.
Background Colour
This important fact we feel when we go through a number of websites. We may see a lot’s of colour combination: Which may be attractive, Amazing, Crazy looking, Irritating, and bad. Thus it’s better to learn from the experience. Like me, most of the visitors are interested in visiting the website only If it is having a good look and feel. Thus every web designer must be careful about the background of the website.
